  绘画在这个时代依旧呈现出一种多元与繁华,从全球范围看,绘画的保守、奢华和自我慰藉,也使得它越来越远离了当代艺术的中心。就艺术的观念性、批判性、政治性而言,绘画显然不是一个好的媒介,但如果说艺术的根本依然是视觉之创造、感性之开发,那么绘画和绘画经验就始终是艺术实践最具本源性的基地。同时,今天的绘画日益成为艺术跨学科、跨媒介的实践场域,正在转化为技艺与思想、感觉和观念砥砺生发的行动,其中蕴含着当代人世界观的表达,牵系着生命政治的斗争与释放。本期嘉宾将围绕这些命题进行研讨,鲁虹先生将对“绘画作为零度”作出讨论,夏可君先生将从“绘画的界面”切入,对绘画的溯源与先锋性进行追问,李凯生先生将从建筑着眼,对“基地”和“行动”等观念进行辩证。来自法国的城市设计师鲁伟则通过自己的实践,阐述他对当前艺术的经验和理解。

  我们试图通过一系列跨语境对话,以开放、多元的姿态与立场,为当代绘画拓展出一个广阔的观念时空。帝格朗尚对任何风景之间的空间与物构成了他独特的视觉感受,绘画作品清晰而透明地揭示了事物之间透明和半透明的状态,从而向我们呈现出这个世界重重叠叠的关联和清晰明晰的结合体,抽象与具象在这里得到了一种有机共存与共生,揭示出这个时代的空间特性和存在。

  In this era, painting still presents a variety and prosperity. From a global perspective, the conservative, luxurious and self-soothing nature of painting also make it increasingly far away from the center of contemporary art. In terms of the conceptual, critical and political nature of art, painting is obviously not a good medium. However, if the fundamental nature of art is still the creation of vision and the development of sensibility, then painting and painting experience will always be the most original base of art practice. At the same time, today‘s painting has increasingly become an interdisciplinary and cross-media practice field of art, which is being transformed into an action where skills and ideas, feelings and concepts are combated, which contains the expression of contemporary people’s world view, and is related to the struggle and release of life politics. The guests will discuss these topics. Mr. Lu Hong will discuss “painting as zero degree”, Mr. Xia Kejun will start from “the interface of painting”, and ask about the origins and pioneering nature of painting. Mr. Li Kaisheng will dialectical the concepts of “base” and “action” from the perspective of architecture. The urban designer from France, Greder, expounds his experience and understanding of current art through his own practice.

  Through a series of cross-context dialogues, we try to develop a broad conceptual space and time for contemporary painting with an open and diversified attitude and stance. The space and objects between any landscape are his unique visual perception. The paintings clearly and transparently reveal the state of transparency and translucency between things, thus presenting to us the association that has overlapping in this world, and the combination of clarity and clarity. Abstract and concrete have an organic coexistence and symbiosis here. It reveals the spatial characteristics and existence of this era.

  马克·帝格朗尚(Marc Desgrandchamps)

  1960年出生于法国萨朗斯(Sallanches),现居住于法国里昂(Lyon)。他毕业于巴黎国立高等艺术学院,是法国当代进行绘画现实革新中极具代表性的艺术大师之一,被称之为“具象后现代主义”的代表人物。他的作品恬然自得,透视效果的画面中安逸闲适处处皆在。从他的作品中可以观察和体会到法国当代艺术的演变与发展。自1987年在蓬皮杜中心举办首个个展以来,他基本上成为了美术馆的独宠,除了在法国各大美术馆举办个人展览,他的作品也成为了这些知名美术馆的重要收藏。

  Born in 1960 in Sallanches, France, he now lives in Lyon, France. He graduated from the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts in Paris. He is one of the most representative masters in the realistic renovation of French contemporary painting, and is known as the representative of “representational postmodernism”. His work is at ease with itself, and the perspective is at ease with itself. The evolution and development of French contemporary art can be observed and experienced from his works. Since his first solo show at the Pompidou Centre in 1987, he has been largely the museum‘s own man, and in addition to solo exhibitions in major French galleries, his work has become an important part of their collections.

  主持中国美术学院多维表现绘画工作室、中国美术学院Inter-Youth国际青年绘画展,发起新西湖绘画。现工作生活于杭州。关注全球语境下的当代艺术研究和形成自身独特的艺术语言结构和词语与语法,以一系列个展勾勒出艺术创作持续不断的艺脉,并以世界变幻的近几十年间自身经历和艺术创作揭示出历史、社会、未来的艺术断裂与碎片的多元文化的视觉景观。涉猎绘画、装置、雕塑等多元艺术创作。倡导“绘画是一切艺术媒介的方法论”。

  Jing Shijian presides over the Multi-dimensional Expression Painting Studio of China Academy of Art, Inter-Youth International Youth Painting Exhibition, initiated the New West Lake Painting, and now lives and works in Hangzhou. Focusing on the study of contemporary art in a global context and forming his own unique artistic grammar and vocabulary, he has outlined a continuous vein of artistic creation through a series of solo exhibitions, and revealed the visual landscape of history, society, and future multiculturalism through his own experiences and artistic creations in the recent decades of world change. He is involved in painting, installation, sculpture and other diversified art creations. He advocates that “painting is the methodology of all art media”.

Xia Kejun

Philosopher Professor at Renmin University of China

  以"无用"为核心概念,出版《一个等待与无用的民族》《无用的神学》与《无用的文学》与《烟影与面纱》等专著,让无用、虚化以及余让的中国范畴生成为当代哲学的核心概念。作为具影响力的当代艺术评论家与策展人,夏可君倡引虚薄与虚白艺术、虚托邦与新锦灰堆等概念,在国内外策划系列重要展览及讨论会超过二百多场,为当代艺术的中国立论产生了相当的影响。夏可君不遗余力地翻译,介绍了德国与法国当代思想,尤其在海德格尔、勒维纳斯、布朗肖、德里达、让·吕克·南希等现代德国和法国思想家上有深入研究。同时,夏可君也原发性地回应了西方思想。他从孔子儒学“感通”的思想出发,重新打开了对《论语》解释的可能性,他以哲学的逻辑和思想严格的方式彻底面对文本和孔子的个体生命,又以“剩余的思想”重新打开了《庄子》,激发了汉语思想之新的可能性。他就哀悼与诗学的关系在中国传统与现代以及与西方诗学的比较上有着自己的思考。此外,他对中国古典绘画艺术以及当代中国艺术都有持久的研究。

  Taking “uselessness” as the core concept, he has published monographs such as “A Nation Waiting and uselessness”, “uselessness Theology”, “Uselessness Literature” and “Smoke Shadow and Veil”, making the Chinese category of uselessness, vacuity and superfluity become the core concept of contemporary philosophy. As an influential critic and curator of contemporary art, Xia Kejun introduced the concepts of thin and empty white art, empty state and new ashes, and curated more than 200 important exhibitions and seminars at home and abroad, exerting considerable influence on the Chinese theory of contemporary art. He spared no effort in translating and introducing contemporary German and French thought, especially in Heidegger and Levinas. Blanchot, Derrida, Jean-Luc Nancy and other modern German and French thinkers. At the same time, Xia Kejun also responded to Western ideas. Starting from the thought of “sense sense” of Confucianism, he reopened the possibility of interpretation of the Analects of Confucius. He thoroughly confronted the text and the individual life of Confucius with philosophical logic and ideological rigor, and reopened Zhuangzi with “residual thoughts”, which stimulated new possibilities of Chinese thought. He has his own thoughts on the relationship between mourning and poetics in traditional and modern China and in comparison with Western poetics. In addition, he has long studied classical Chinese painting art, as well as contemporary Chinese art.

  研究方向广泛跨越于空间诗学、社会装置、城市建筑学、区域规划、比较思想史和比较哲学等多元文化范围。在坚持致力于哲学现象学和存在论哲学系统与中国道--儒学理传统的基础性比较思想研究的同时,发力于本土空间观念、山水园林思想和地理意识的系统梳理和现代性改造,强调利用西方分析性--系统性思维来反观--整理中国传统的空间思想和诗学传统,同时积极引入现当代艺术的开放性,使之进入到建筑与城市研究的传统学术领域。为当代空间建筑和艺术现象学研究中“空间地理和物境诗学”学派的奠基者和代表人物。个人以“青道房设计机构TAO studio”背景的实践活动亦活跃于建筑设计到城市研究、空间艺术到景观装置、山水园林到观念绘画之间的跨文化领域。

  His research interests span from space poetics, social devices, urban architecture, regional planning, comparative thought history and comparative philosophy. While persisting in the research of philosophical phenomenology and ontological philosophy system as well as the basic comparative thought of Chinese Daoist and Confucian traditions, it also makes efforts in the systematic sorting and modern transformation of local space concepts, landscape garden thoughts and geographical consciousness, and emphasizes the use of Western analytical and systematic thinking to review and sort out Chinese traditional space thoughts and poetic traditions. At the same time, it actively introduces the openness of modern and contemporary art into the traditional academic field of architecture and urban studies. He is the founder and representative of the school of “Space geography and physical poetry” in the study of contemporary space architecture and art phenomenology. With the background of TAO studio, my personal practice activities are also active in the cross-cultural fields from architectural design to urban research, space art to landscape installation, landscape garden to conceptual painting.

中国美术学院建筑艺术学院特聘教授  城市设计系主任

  Olivier Greder

  Distinguished Professor, Head of Urban Design Department, School of Architecture, China Academy of Art

  法国建筑师、城市设计师,现为中国美院建筑艺术学院特聘教授、城市设计系主任,有所谓设计工作室(Olivier Greder Architecture)创始人。来华前曾是法国G.STUDIO联合创始人、主持设计师。曾担任COP21第21届联合国气候变化大会会场改造项目顾问。

  其设计理念注重建筑的科学性、实用性和社会性,倡导生态、环保与低碳;提倡建筑和城市设计“以人为本”、因地制宜以及低调朴实的价值观;反对形式主义、功利主义和脱离现实的“标准化”设计;反对以汽车为中心的非人性化城市规划;致力于研究普遍性城市化的替代解决办法,支持城市性和城市生活,探索并提出了一种促进步行性和包容性的混合用途友好社区城市的反规划对策;倡导保护农村和农业、自然景观及生物的多样性;主张恢复自然、乡村和现代社会之间的共生条件。强调建筑师、城市设计师要有社会使命感和责任感。

  French architect and urban designer, distinguished Professor and head of the Urban Design Department,School of Architecture, China Academy of Art.Initiating Founder of Olivier Greder Architecture.Before coming to China, he was co-founder and chief designer of G.studio,He once served as the consultant for the venue of the COP21 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris.

  He pays attention to the scientificity, practicality and sociality of architecture, while advocating ecology and environmental protection; Defend values of “people-oriented”, natural and low-key simplicity in architecture and urban design, adjusts its measures to local conditions;Oppose formalism, utilitarianism and “standardized” design divorced from reality; Oppose also car-centered dehumanizing urban planning. He is committed to studying alternative solutions to generic urbanization, supporting urbanity and urban life, exploring and proposing a counter planning strategy to promote walkability and inclusiveness of mixed-use friendly community cities. He advocates protection of rurality, natural landscapes and biological diversity. And also devotes himself to restoring the symbiotic conditions between nature, rural areas and modern society.   Inter-Youth国际高等艺术学院青年绘画展是中国美术学院发起的集世界一流艺术学院背景的优秀青年艺术家作品的展示与交流平台。秉承时代艺术先锋、实验的精神,依托学院对学术力量,鼓励艺术创作与社会当下的时代链接,聚焦图像时代绘画的表现力和创新力,强调传承与发展,个性与创造,并坚持从创作中体感历史现实。Inter- Youth鼓励青年艺术家追问绘画本源,主动传承、融合和创新的时代命题,通过聚合起一批有愿景和责任感的全球青年艺术家,形成一个既有艺术学术脉络和厚度,又面向国际社会具有前瞻性和开放性的有机平台。在往期的展览中,我们邀请了安尼施·卡普尔、李禹焕、尼奥·劳赫、杨福东等国际知名艺术家作品参与展览并交流他们的艺术理念。在每年的Inter-Youth学术季期间,也为杭州这座充满艺术气息和人文精神的城市提供了一年一度的世界青年艺术家作品和交流的开放平台。

  “Inter-Youth” International Painting Exhibition is an art project initiated by the China Academy of Art in 2015. It has brought together outstanding young artists from the world‘s leading art universities and institutions, providing a sustainable platform for international artistic creation and exhibition. In past exhibitions, we have invited Anish Kapoor, Lee Ufan, Neo Rauch, Nam June Paik, and Yang Fudong to participate and communicate their artistic ideas with young artists from all over the world. During the Inter-Youth academic season, It also provides an annual artistic feast for Hangzhou, a city rich in art atmosphere and humanistic spirit.
